Who writes Youngitute

Every course on this site is written by one person, from the profession's own primary sources. This page exists so you can decide whether to trust it — including the parts that argue against me.

I grew up around freight forwarding — my family runs WorldZone Shipping & Logistics in Dubai — and I built the first course here to learn that business properly myself, from the industry's own teaching material rather than from blog posts. The RERA course came next, for the same reason: Dubai's real estate rules are written down, publicly, in law, and almost nobody teaching them works from the law itself.

What I am not

I am not a twenty-year industry veteran, and nothing on this site asks you to take my word for anything. That is precisely why the courses are built the way they are: the authority comes from the sources, not from me. Where a chapter states a rule, it states which law or standard the rule comes from, so you can go and check it.

If you find something wrong, I would genuinely rather know — [email protected]. Corrections get made and the chapter's review date changes.

How the courses are written

01 Primary sources only

Nothing is written from memory or from an AI's general knowledge. The Dubai RERA course is authored from the Land Department's official legislation compilation — Law No. 7 of 2006 on property registration, Law No. 16 of 2007 establishing RERA, Law No. 8 of 2007 on escrow accounts, Law No. 13 of 2008 on the interim register, Law No. 26 of 2007 and Law No. 33 of 2008 on tenancy, Law No. 27 of 2007 on jointly owned property, and Law No. 7 of 2013 on the Land Department itself. The freight course is authored from the industry's core teaching material and audited against the standards that actually govern each topic — ICC Incoterms® 2020, the IMO's IMDG Code, IATA's air cargo rules, UCP 600, the WCO's Harmonized System.

02 Every chapter shows its sources

Scroll to the bottom of any chapter and you will find what it was written from and when it was last reviewed. The review date is not typed by hand — it comes from the file's actual edit history, so it cannot quietly drift out of date.

03 Written to be examined, not skimmed

48 chapters, more than 50,000 words, 34 explanatory diagrams drawn specifically for these courses, and 275 exam-style questions with worked explanations. The RERA course covers all eleven official Knowledge Bank domains and includes a full timed mock exam.

04 What the certificate is — and isn't

Finishing a course earns a Youngitute certificate. It is a certificate of completion from an independent course, not an accredited qualification, and it is not issued by RERA, the Dubai Land Department, or any trade body. It does not replace the official DREI training or the government exam. Anyone who tells you a free online certificate does is selling you something.

What it is worth is the work behind it: a full timed mock exam, a domain-by-domain score report, and questions written against the same source material as the course. A public certificate register is live, so that certificates can be checked by whoever you show them to.

Why it's free

Everything — every chapter, every quiz, the mock exams and the certificates — is free, with no trial and no card. It is free because the courses are worth more to me as proof of work than as revenue right now, and because a professional qualification that only reaches people who can already afford one is a worse product. If paid tiers ever arrive they will be for new premium material; what is free today stays free.
